Fans raise £127k in 24hrs to save WrexhamWrexham FC fans have raised £127,000 in one day to save their club from potential oblivion and there were some pretty amazing donations. £10,000 from a Canadian, two blokes who offered the deeds to their properties as collateral, a 10-year-old lad with £35 savings, and OAPs offering their life savings. The loyalty of football fans is unsurpassable and our hats go off to the Dragons' support. Brilliant. |

Cancelled game = unwanted rail ticket? If you have an unwanted rail ticket because of a game that has fallen victim to the riots, the FSF might be able to help. We've been in touch with Virgin Trains who have kindly agreed to refund those with a valid match ticket for Spurs-Everton (go to point of purchase for refund). We've also been in touch with reps from all the major operating companies to ask if they'll follow Virgin's lead. Lastly, we'd advise all fans to keep an eye on the latest news before leaving home for their team's game.

And finally... keeper pays the penaltyBizarre shenanigans over in the United States and we’re not just talking about the indignity of playing on an American football pitch. This keeper seems to think the best way to put a player off is to do a few girlish handstands – Bruce Grobbelaar eat your heart out. But how do you think the penalty taker gets his own back? |
