Are synthetic surfaces to return?

The BBC reports that the Football League could give synthetic surfaces the thumbs up. But what do fans think? At present the FSF has no set policy on the subject. More than 70 die in Egyptian football disaster

BlueSq: West Ham-Millwall

Join today and BlueSq will match your first bet up to £25
Our attention turns to the Championship and Saturday's early KO where West Ham take on Millwall in one of the weekend's spiciest fixtures. With the match taking place at the Boleyn Ground the Hammers have the edge (4/7) with the draw rated 13/5. You can back the Lions at 11/2.

They'll also be talking naming rights - does sponsorship give owners the right to change the name of a club's ground?

And finally... the scorpion is back with a bang

Rewind 17 years (yeah, that long ago) to 1995 and future Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has literally hit a weak shot which Higuita saves in flamboyant fashion. Well now it’s 2012 and the scorpion is back.
