Newcastle Westgate Juniors Girls Under 12s faced West Denton Girls for the second time this season. A strong start to the game with 2 goals scored in the opening quarter. A right footed chip by Katie Walton and a tap in by Courtney Cross. The girls continued to keep pressure on West Denton with a further 2 goals scored by Molly Cross and Caitlin Lewis. West Denton increased pressure in the last quarter scoring a consolation goal.
After a slow start to the season the girls are now working well and this win now leaves the girls 7th in the league.
