On Saturday, Cameron Angus and family were at St.James' Park as guests of NUST. They were our latest 'Local Achievers' having been nominated by Liz Luff of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. The family have been great supporters of the Foundation as well as Cameron benefitting from it thanks to the funding of a new children's waiting area at the Freeman hospital where he received regular treatment for a brain tumour.
Cameron's dad James was in touch after Saturday's match to say, "We cannot thank you enough for the tickets for such a great game, despite feeling as though we were playing against 12 men for most of the match we wthought the commitment of both players and fans was tremendous. Cameron and his sister Olivia made Jonas their man of the match as he typified the commitment with his workrate. We'd like to wish the Trust the best of luck with the 'Yes We Can' campaign which our family are right behind and think it could eventually give us a club we can all be proud of".
