The city has been awash with rumours of impending takeovers and this current rumour has been brewing for a few days. However, with non-disclosure agreements in place and rules that need to be observed by all parties we feel that such rumours should be treated as exactly that. Until something substantive and positive is officially announced by the club we feel it inappropraite to comment further as this merely adds to the morass of mis-information and serves little purpose to the supporters of Newcastle United.
Like all supporters we hope for a positive resolution to the state of confusion surrounding the club both on and off the field; we look forward to presenting our Trust proposals to the new owners and a new era at Newcastle United commencing; where supporter representation is acknowledged as a positive proposition and the way forward, by whoever buys the club.
