Thanks to tickets provided by the NUST as part of our Local Achievers initiative, two pupils from Heaton Manor School have been given the opportunity to watch Newcastle take on Fulham at St. James' Park this weekend.
Katie Graham and Jordan Dobson from class 7S5 joined Heaton Manor in September, and were the two lucky names pulled out of the hat to receive the tickets. Pupils in 7S5 were awarded a raffle ticket for good behaviour and excellent work during their History lessons about the Crusades.
Having spent the last few weeks looking at the code of honour for medieval knights - be brave at all times, always seek revenge, to keep faith, never to refuse a challenge - it's a shame Jordan and Katie were not at St. James' Park to witness our knights in shining armour put Sunderland to the sword!
