Positive Futures Achievers - Update

Lorraine said "We all had a fab time at the match despite the score and the freezing weather. The seats were fantastic. We had an amazing view - just a shame there were not a couple of goals to round off the night but we stil enjoyed it all the same.

All 4 volunteer their time to help out with the Positive Futures scheme based at Wallsend Boys Club.

Positive Futures is a brilliant scheme which runs in conjunction with Sub 21and takes a developmental approach to helping young people fromdeprived communities steer clear of crime, drug and alcohol misuse and move forward in their lives. It is aimed at young people aged 10 to 19 and works with local shops in the community and the local police to and offers a variety of activities like cooking, bike workshops, football and skate workshops as well as dance and nail art. Positive Futures are based in Wallsend Boys Club and are open 7 days a week.
