Newcastle United this week will be auctioning off the actual shirts worn in the Ipswich v Newcastle United game to raise money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. The shirts which were specially made for this match and embroidered with the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation logo and the fixture details, are one of a kind.
The club have launched the auctions on Ebay here from today and ALL proceeds will go directly to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and to aid the work they do in fighting cancer. The shirts will be available for bidding over the October Half-Term holiday and will end on Sunday 1st November. All shirts are signed by the player who wore them and come with a certificate of authenticity.
The winner of the Kevin Nolan shirt, who scored his first hat-trick in the game will receive his shirt personally delivered by Kevin Nolan himself, United’s camera man will be there to capture this moment and the club will post this on their official site.
