£433 was contributed by Magicbox to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. They contributed £1 per Spiderman mask sold for the Newcastle vs Forest game. The idea was born on Facebook and publicised by NUST and others for a very worthy cause. Also received recently was the confirmation of the £4673.86 donation (pictured below) which were the proceeds of the auction of the signed Shola shirt worn during the Sheffield United game.
Pauline Buglass, head of fund-raising for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, says: "The ongoing support we receive from fans of Newcastle United and other clubs is wonderful and very much appreciated.
"We've never had a Spiderman fund-raising idea before and it certainly was a very different way to raise money. We're grateful to Newcastle United Supporters Trust for their continued efforts to raise money for Sir Bobby's charity. The money will help patients within the north east and Cumbria who are fighting hard against cancer."
