Wednesday saw Liverpool’s managing director Ian Ayre claim the club should throw away the “collective agreement” between all 20 Premier League clubs so they could gorge themselves on more TV money. Bill Shankly would be proud eh? On the same day the government also warned the football industry that they’d better start listening to football fans, or else. And that or else might even be Parliamentary legislation. Hear, hear.
The FSF is also interested to know what fans think of international fixtures. Mr Blatter (boo-hiss) wants more, the clubs want less, but what do fans think?
