In response to several requests to know more about the orphanage in Ghana on whose behalf we received a donation £5 to the “Yes We Can” campaign; we thought it might help if we gave a little bit of information about the orphanage, its location and how it survives on the generosity of the donations it receives from people like yourselves.
The orphanage is located in Boadi, Kumasi, which is in Central Ghana. It is run entirely on charitable donations and provides safety, a home and an education for children aged from newborn to 18, whose lives have been affected by a variety of social problems that befall families in that area of the world.
