Articles At the recent Newcastle United Supporters Club Comedy night held in the Irish centre at Gallowgate, the grand sum of £241 was raised, by those that were there on the night, for the Tiny Lives Fund
The Tiny Lives Fund for special care babies supports the work of The Neonatal Service at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne. The unit specialises in saving babies lives and looks after newborn babies from all over the north of England.
Every year, 600 premature or ill newborn babies are admitted to the hospital, with up to 30 babies being looked after at any one time.
