Following the sad news of Sir Bobby Robson's passing the Newcastle United Supporters Club has been inundated with tributes and messages of condolence. I thought I would share these 2 with everyone as I think they show the boundaries he cut across and the positive effect he had on every club he was associated with.
"A quick email as your site is the only one that has an email address to write to concerning NUFC, disappointing that the official NUFC website does not. As a Sunderland man born and bred and an avid Sunderland supporter I have looked high and low on the NUFC websites to leave a tribute to Sir Bobby. No matter what the rivalry between the two clubs I think I speak for 99% of Sunderland supporters (less the idiots) at the sad loss of this Great Northeast sportsman. He was a man whose blood ran Northeast and he will be a sad loss both North and South of the Tyne."
